We are unable to fulfill requests for specific teachers. This is because we carefully manage enrollments to guarantee that students receive the necessary feedback and attention. Our priority is to ensure that teachers are not overloaded, allowing them to provide the best possible support to all students.
To withdraw from a course, a guardian can begin the withdrawal process by sending a written request to support.alvs@edmentum.com. From purchase to 14 calendar days after the selected start date an enrollment fee of 20% of payment will be collected for any withdrawn courses. Any courses withdrawn after more than 14 calendar days will not be eligible for any refund regardless of circumstances.
To maintain academic integrity, Apex Learning Virtual School requires all work submitted by students to be entirely the result of one’s own effort. Plagiarism will not be tolerated , and teachers will not accept work that is plagiarized. Failure to abide by these rules may result in assignment re-submission, no credit for the assignment, or removal from the course.
Students enrolled on a part-time basis in individual courses receive a maximum of 18 weeks per semester in standard courses, a maximum of 10 weeks for credit recovery courses, and six months for tutorials. Extensions are not available.If additional time is needed in a standard or credit recovery course, students may re-enroll in the course and request a scores transfer. Progress will transfer into the new enrollment and students will have the maximum duration to complete the remaining work. Courses can be purchased in the course catalog. Students experiencing extenuating circumstances may be eligible for a course pause. Qualifying situations may include medical treatment, bereavement, institutionalization, and environmental emergencies. For more information, please contact us at 855-550-2547 or support.alvs@edmentum.com.
